Parc Royale

Parc Royale, located in Tai Wai, boasts a spacious unit of approximately 1,000 square feet. Given that the homeowners are a couple, the designer recognized the ample space within the unit and decided to prioritize functionality as the primary design theme.

Designer Danny made several key modifications to the original layout. He combined the existing rooms to create a generously sized walk-in wardrobe for the master bedroom, allowing the homeowners to better organize and access their clothing and accessories. This change enabled the couple to perform their dressing and grooming routines within the same space.

Another significant alteration was the merging of the two separate bathrooms into one luxurious master bathroom. This decision provided the homeowners with a more indulgent and comfortable bathing experience, as they now had a larger and more well-equipped space to cater to their needs. Additionally, the designer incorporated a dedicated area within the unit for the homeowners’ beloved pet, ensuring a designated space for the furry companion to rest and relax.

In the multi-purpose room, Danny designed a raised platform with ample storage space underneath, optimizing the functionality of this versatile space. This clever use of the available square footage enables the homeowners to keep the room uncluttered while maintaining easy access to necessary items.

Aesthetically, the designer selected a champagne-colored wallpaper, which lends a sense of sophistication and refinement to the interior. The warm wooden trims and accents complement the champagne hue, creating an ambiance that seamlessly blends the elegance of a hotel setting with the comfort and natural charm of a home. The use of gray fabrics and white accents, combined with the verdant outdoor views, further enhances the soothing and tranquil atmosphere within the space.

Throughout the design process, the homeowners’ preference for a hotel-inspired aesthetic was taken into consideration. The designer’s attention to detail and focus on functionality have resulted in a harmonious and practical living space that caters to the needs and desires of the homeowners, while also providing a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere.
