The apartment is located in Ma On Shan and has an area of approximately 900 sq.ft. Situated by the seashore, Danny seeks inspiration from the apartment’s tranquil surroundings to design this serene home.

Our client is a well-travelled family – nothing better than having a vacation without leaving home. This is also the wish of them to transform the residence into a carefully curated hotel suite by incorporating the lavish clubhouse lounge concept with a resort-like ambience. client’s wish for turning the residence into a staycation resort interior design, Danny knocks down unnecessary walls to create one large main suite by combining four rooms into one. The bathtub serves as a highlight to connect the sleeping quarter and bathroom within the suite, enabling both the master bedroom and bathroom to share the same breath-taking views. As soon as the homeowners wake up every morning, they are greeted with the understated charisma of the thoughtfully curated space. They can take a relaxing bath by the window. Also, to add a sense of leisure and luxury reminiscent of the hotel aesthetics.

In a post-pandemic world, our attitude towards our home has changed significantly. We realized how important it was to have a comfortable living space when we were cooped up at home. Client used to be frequent travelers before COVID19. When considering a renovation, it was no surprise that they opted for a tailor-made home to deliver a unique ‘staycation’ experience. To achieve the attitude of a classy staycation at home.

The apartment’s living space has an open-plan layout as well. Such layout indicates the flow of traffic specifically designed for the homeowners to fit their daily routines.

Additionally, bespoke furnishings decorated with earthy hues, such as pale wood finishes, beige and ivory tones are put together to create a cohesive appearance, and further connects the indoor space to the landscapes.
